God Keeps The Question Of His Existence Squarely Before Us

Proof of God

The existence of God is one of the oldest and most debated topics in the history of human civilization. Since the advent of life, philosophers, scientists and theologians have proposed arguments to support and disown the presence of God.

Since God has not been defined as an entity in the universe or as a mathematical unit, presenting proof or arguments that are relevant to God's existence is puzzling. As of today, there is no conclusive scientific proof of the existence, or absence, of God implies that this is not a scientific problem.

So, does God exist?

The intricacy of our planet points to a thoughtful design that not only created the universe but modeled in a way to sustain it as well. Earth is the only known planet equipped with an atmosphere of the right mixture of gases to sustain life.

There is a defined expanse of space between the Sun and the Earth. Any further, and we would all freeze. On the other hand, if we had been closer to the Sun, we would have been burnt to ashes. A perfectly synchronized Earth rotating on its axis, allowing the entire surface of to be periodically warmed and cooled every day is a revelation. On hindsight, it appears to be Proof of God controlling the temperature unit.

Scientifically no living thing can survive without water. The major part of plants, animals and human beings consist of water (two-thirds of the human body is filled with water). Water preserves us in an environment of fluctuating temperature changes, however keeping our bodies at a constant temperature. The property of water as a solvent transports various chemicals, minerals and nutrients throughout our bodies and into the smallest blood vessels. Ideally 97% of the Earth's water is in our oceans. But the water cycle ensures a system of purification and supply that sustains life on this planet. The presence of water and its properties is a mystery, but clearly well-defined by an external force.

Scientists are committed to the fact that our universe began with one enormous explosion of energy and light, termed as the Big Bang. A singular start to everything that existed: the universe, space and time. But, the universe has not always existed. And this initiation could be further proof of the existence of God.

There is no logical requirement for a universe that follows rules, leave alone one that abides by the rules of mathematics. The universe doesn't necessarily have to behave this way. It could be a possibility to have a universe where conditions change unpredictably from instant to instant or things pop in and out of existence.

In every cell of our bodies there exists a very detailed instruction code similar to a computer program. The DNA code in each of our cells is a detail-oriented code that is made up of four chemicals arranged uniformly with the intent of driving the innumerous processes in our body.
Similar to programming a gadget for specific purposes, the DNA instructs the cell. And the intricacies involved in design and implementation of the DNA can only provide further evidence of a superior being involved, proof of God.

The reason that the topic of God weighs so heavily on our mind is because God is pressing the issue. He created us with the intention that we would know him and has surrounded us with evidence of him and keeps the question of his existence squarely before us.

To answer the questions, does God exist? Some higher force does exist that does not force us to believe in it, though it could. Perhaps, we have been provided with sufficient proof of existence for us to believe in God.
